Reliability in Practice: GeoStorage Successfully Completes GDP Recertification

Reliability in Practice: GeoStorage Successfully Completes GDP Recertification

At GeoStorage, quality is not merely a requirement; it is the foundation of everything we do. We are proud to announce the successful completion of our latest Good Distribution Practice (GDP) recertification audit, which renews our GDP certification with the local regulatory body. This milestone serves as a formal validation of the strength and maturity of our quality management systems and the professionalism of our team.

For international pharmaceutical and clinical research sectors, this recertification reinforces GeoStorage’s leadership, ensuring that our logistics solutions remain reliable, compliant, and - most importantly - patient-focused.

Since our establishment in 2010, GeoStorage has consistently aligned its mission with the delivery of high-trust logistics solutions. Our commitment to international standards is a long-standing one, positioning Georgia as a sophisticated hub in the global clinical supply chain.

GeoStorage has been operating in full alignment with EU GDP standards since 2017, embedding European best practices into our daily operations years before they became a mandatory requirement in the local market.

A key marker of our regional prestige occurred in 2022; when GDP certification became a regulatory necessity, GeoStorage was recognized as the first company in the country to obtain the official local GDP certificate. By maintaining this status through annual recertification, we demonstrate a consistent track record of operational excellence that sets a benchmark for the sector. In parallel with our GDP status, our ISO certification (maintained since 2014) further reinforces our structured approach to quality management, risk control, and continuous improvement.

A primary outcome of our recent audit was the recognition of our team’s qualitative excellence. At GeoStorage, quality is not centralized - it is embedded at every level of the organization.

The audit process highlighted a high degree of engagement and ownership across all departments. From warehouse operations to quality assurance and distribution, our team members demonstrate deep understanding and accountability for their respective roles. Every process - from receipt and storage to order handling and dispatch - is managed by trained professionals who:

●      Understand regulatory expectations in depth;

●      Operate in full compliance with established procedures;

●      Take personal ownership of quality within their functional areas.

This level of professional engagement ensures that our operations are not only compliant on paper but are consistently executed in practice, maintaining our standing as a high-trust partner for global stakeholders.

While certifications validate our systems, our true focus goes beyond compliance. We understand that behind every shipment is a patient waiting for treatment. This perspective drives our uncompromising standards in:

●      Product Integrity and Storage Conditions: Maintaining the exact environment required for each medicinal product.

●      Timely and Accurate Distribution: Ensuring the supply chain remains efficient and predictable.

●      Full Traceability: Providing a clear and documented path for every item across the entire supply chain.

Our GDP and ISO certifications serve one ultimate purpose: to ensure that every medicinal product reaches its destination safely, securely, and without compromise.

As GeoStorage continues to expand its capabilities, our dedication to upholding the highest international standards remains unchanged. We are committed to the continuous improvement of our systems and processes, strengthening our position as a premier, trusted partner in regional clinical and pharmaceutical logistics.

The successful completion of this latest recertification reaffirms the core values that define GeoStorage today: professionalism, reliability, and proven expertise. For our partners and the patients they serve, it is a guarantee that their products are handled with the highest level of care and regulatory discipline.
